Abstract

Teaching speaking to advanced learners of English as a second language can be demanding. For this reason, teachers working with advanced learners are often on the lookout for educational tasks that can help students develop their speaking abilities still further. This brief entry first explains why teaching speaking to advanced learners is important and then presents several tasks that can be used with learners at the advanced level of language proficiency.
