Outcome Measures
Abstract
Outcome measures help to assess rehabilitation by providing a starting point for evaluation, allowing for comparisons to normal conditions and tracking changes over time in response to treatment or disease progression. Ideally, outcome measures should be valid, reliable, sensitive, and practical. Common outcome measures used in rehabilitation include visual assessment of posture, stance and gait analysis, passive measurements, and functional assessments.
