Abstract

The continuous evolution of communication technologies has ushered in the era of 6G networks, promising unparalleled connectivity, speed, and reliability. Central to this transformative landscape is the adoption of quantum machine learning (QML) as a cutting-edge tool for network resource allocation. This research encapsulates a groundbreaking study combining quantum computing, machine learning, and 6G network management. The study explores QML's potential to optimize resource allocation in 6G networks by harnessing the unmatched processing capabilities of quantum computing. QML algorithms, empowered by quantum parallelism and superposition, provide innovative solutions for dynamic spectrum management, routing, and quality-of-service (QoS) optimization. The research delves into the design and implementation of quantum circuits tailored to resource allocation challenges, highlighting their effectiveness in alleviating network congestion and elevating QoS. Furthermore, it explores the quantum-inspired reinforcement learning paradigm, enabling autonomous decision-making by network components. Quantum neural networks are deployed to decipher complex patterns in network traffic, facilitating real-time, context-aware resource allocation. These advancements hold the promise of reducing latency, optimizing throughput, and enhancing the overall efficiency of 6G networks.
