Abstract

In this chapter, the author shares his viewpoint on a way to enhance the better output functionalities for the 6G applications. We are in an era of digital communication, where the network remains the backbone. It is our key duty to protect the networks. The notion of network intelligence (NI) has evolved in a rapid swiftly, but it is growing only with the help of quantum computing (QC). To run the high-end programs for NI, we need a QC with high specifications. The core objectives of the high-end NI program include autonomous network operation, real-time decision-making, enhanced security, scalability, and flexibility. QC is touted as a revolutionary approach to the field of computation. It leverages the principles of quantum mechanics (QM) and deals with quantum phenomena at atomic and subatomic levels. QC uses quantum bits, or Qubits based on unique properties that allow for better powerful computational abilities. Here, QC and NI are two advanced fields that go hand in hand in multiple ways. It creates synergies that act as a crucial element for driving next-generation computing and network management. The overlapping of the above technologies such as NI and QC harness the revolutions in a way that how networks are managed, secured, and optimized. This collaboration leads to more powerful, efficient, and intelligent systems for the 6G applications. Finally, the author discussed how to model a better QC with the help of novel fields such as spintronics and photonics or better output for the 6G applications.
