Smart Generation Control Based on Multi‐Agents

In the era of a smart grid, the existing problems of Automatic Generation Control (AGC) are frequent counter-adjustment and high regulation times. To this end, AGC with better control structure, strategy, goal, adaptability, and robustness transforms into Smart Generation Control (SGC) to meet the requirements of real-time generation control in a smart grid. Therefore, SGC based on multi-agent and its application in virtual generation tribe and island grid are studied in this chapter to realize the optimal coordinated control of each region and the high-efficiency power autonomy of island grid.
