Coordinating Transactive Energy and Carbon Emission Trading Among Multi‐Energy Virtual Power Plants for Distributed Learning
Abstract
Coordination of Transactive Energy and CER Trading for Heterogeneous Networked MEVPPs via Adaptive Consensus ADMM: Multi-Energy Virtual Power Plants (MEVPPs) enable low-carbon transitions via internal energy sharing and trading. This study proposes a holistic optimization framework for coordinating electricity, heat, and Carbon Emission Right (CER) trading among interconnected MEVPPs. It addresses heterogeneity in MEVPPs, Peer-to-Peer (P2P) transactive energy, and CER trading while respecting both power and heat network constraints. Adaptive Consensus Alternating Direction Method of Multipliers (AC-ADMM) is proposed to ensure privacy and transparency while also expediting convergence and enhancing suitability for distributed learning frameworks. Case studies demonstrate the economic and environmental benefits of coordination and verify the superior convergence performance of proposed AC-ADMM.
