Abstract

This chapter presents a comparative analysis of ethics codes from major OEHS professional organizations, including the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP), Board for Global EHS Credentialing (BGC), American Association of Occupational Health Nurses (AAOHN), and American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM). It examines shared principles and important differences across these codes and applies six ethical lenses to better understand their application. The chapter concludes with a discussion of how these codes influence professional practice, enhance decision-making, and promote ethical consistency in interdisciplinary teams.
