ANSWERING QUESTIONS AND BUILDING MODELS

The analytical process for ethnographic research continues with the tasks of building answers to questions and insightful analyses out of the sorted and coded ethnographic record. At this stage, the researcher's task is to put the pieces together into a larger whole that highlights the most relevant information and explains its significance while also constructing an ethnographic narrative that is effective in conveying the relevance and significance to its audience. This inductive process works from the ethnographic record and draws on relevant theoretical frameworks to build the larger whole.
