Abstract

In developing a strategic framework for regeneration, it is important to distinguish between flexible and inflexible organizations as factors in turnaround success or failure. There are four elements that comprise strategic changes: diagnosing the situations, identifying levers of change, defining change agents, and preparing the strategic change program. This chapter discusses the strategies for regenerating organizations. For companies operating in competitive markets and being threatened with failure, innovation is often a necessity in order to survive in the market. Turnaround strategies usually follow a process of organization decline. Ambidextrous companies have two types of business units: alignment-oriented and adaptability-oriented. An AI-enabled organization is one that strategically integrates artificial intelligence (AI) into its core operations, processes, and decision making to achieve its goals. The chapter also focuses on integrating management science, analytics, and AI for strategic management practice.
