Abstract

Soybeans have long been recognized for their nutritional benefits, serving as a key source of protein, essential amino acids, and bioactive compounds that contribute to overall health. As the food industry continues to evolve, there is increased demand in the expansion of soy-based functional foods and nutraceuticals. Soy protein has been shown to provide beneficial health outcomes, particularly for individuals who consume it regularly. Soy products are increasingly popular among people with dietary and health concerns. Soy products lower the hazards. Research indicates that individuals who consume soy products on a daily basis are less likely to acquire age-related chronic diseases compared to those who consume less soy. The exact component(s) responsible for soybeans’ stated health advantages is still a topic of debate among scientists. Soy's benefits include lower cholesterol levels, menopause symptom relief, and reduced threat of chronic diseases such as heart disease, cancer, and osteoporosis. Soy products come in a range of aromas and textures, allowing for a low-fat, balanced, and healthy diet. Innovations in this field are shaping the future of nutrition, driven by sustainability, personalized dietary approaches, and advancements in food science.
