Regression
Abstract
Chapter 3 presents regression mostly from the classical, statistical, least-squares point of view. Initially, the domain of the function that is to be learned is assumed to be the m -dimensional real numbers. Categorical features and adding flexibility to a linear model by expanding and transforming the features or response are addressed in later sections.
