Arrhenius Activation Energy and Viscosity Ratio Impact on Casson Fluid Flow Across Porous Stretching Surface with Variable Magnetic Field
Abstract
Casson fluid is a non-Newtonian fluid that exhibits yield stress, meaning it behaves as a solid at low stress levels and flows as a liquid once the applied stress exceeds a certain threshold. This unique behavior makes Casson fluid models useful in a variety of applications across industries, particularly in biomedical, engineering, and industrial processes. Inspired by the above applications, the authors examined the Arrhenius activation energy and viscosity ratio impact on Casson fluid movement across porous stretching surface with variable magnetic field, thermophoresis and Brownian movement was examined using mass transfer analysis and radiation and heat source effects in energy equation, and considered PDEs were calculated to ODEs vis similarity variables later solved by using numerical method; the results of the present study show that enhancing the magnetic field and porous media reduces the velocity. The study of Casson fluid flow influenced by Arrhenius activation energy, viscosity variations, and a changing magnetic field has significant applications in several fields, including industrial processes, biomedical engineering, and energy systems. This research is particularly useful in optimizing heat and mass transfer mechanisms, improving material processing, and enhancing technological advancements in magnetohydrodynamics.
