Technological Advancements in Healthcare
Abstract
Through Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based analytical methods, healthcare will achieve new beginnings through acquiring up-to-date medical intelligence from vast multidimensional datasets in real time. This mechanism of predictive analytics advances the healthcare domain to unleash the new potential of technology. Researchers examine healthcare AI models in the scientific process to create fast evidence-based conclusions that enhance medical success while optimizing systems efficiency and personalized health digitalization. Employing the combined capability of deep learning (DL) and machine learning (ML) with electronic health records (EHRs), medical images, and patient history provides actionable insights to health practitioners. Healthcare organizations are confronted with AI technology implementation issues due to difficulties in handling data privacy rules and standardized data needs, as well as model standardization challenges and interface connectivity problems in their current healthcare information systems. Technical problem-solving is needed in the functional deployment of healthcare AI models to perform in clinical environments with equitable and trustworthy operations. AI technology advancement must focus on three main areas involving model explanation systems development, simplification of the computational process, and refinement of personalized healthcare solutions. The healthcare revolution will emerge through AI innovation, which assists employees and enhances system access in addition to delivering excellence and equity. The arrival of 5G and the imminent capabilities of 6G are transforming predictive analytics in healthcare with ultrafast data transmission, real-time surveillance, and low-latency processing of intricate medical data. These cutting-edge network technologies are the pillars of future healthcare systems, enabling AI-based analytics, edge computing, and the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), which improve early disease diagnosis and customized patient care. The interoperability of 5G/6G infrastructure and predictive analytics is critical in constructing a smart healthcare ecosystem. This chapter covers the healthcare predictive analytics and methodology to support the AI-based performance and connection to 5G/6G technology in exploring the greater heights of healthcare success.
