Abstract

Fatigue after prostate cancer can develop from side effects of prostatectomy, radiation or from androgen deprivation therapy. Side effects of these therapies that contribute to fatigue are hot flashes, weight gain, diabetes, bowel and bladder irregularity, and depression. There is a large population of men who struggle with fatigue after prostate cancer as a result of testosterone deficiency, and this chapter discusses complementary therapies that are effective at helping men feel better.
