Abstract

Advanced health information systems are being adopted more widely, leading to significant improvements in patient care, administrative efficiency, and medical research. However, the rise of these technologies has also increased the vulnerability of healthcare organizations to increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. These threats pose serious risks to patient data privacy, system stability, and the continuity of healthcare operations. Cybersecurity dangers like ransomware, hacking, information breaches, and malware attacks are on the rise. These dangers make it much more troublesome to keep individual health data private, available, and secure. To keep health information systems secure from new cyber threats, we require more advanced devices that can detect them. Focusing on the utilization of cutting-edge cybersecurity advances, this study examines the role of enhanced threat detection frameworks in healthcare settings. Machine learning (ML), artificial intelligence (AI), and behavioral analytics are all critical parts of making it simpler to discover and prevent hacks on health data frameworks. These innovations enable the real-time detection of potential threats, providing protection against both known and emerging attack vectors. AI-driven models can search for patterns and discover exceptions that standard security frameworks might miss by utilizing gigantic sums of health information. Blockchain innovation is also being explored as a way to ensure that healthcare frameworks have secure means of communication and maintain data accuracy. Blockchain gives an independent, unchangeable record that makes things clear and responsible, making it less likely that information will be changed without permission. Integration of blockchain with AI and machine learning is recommended as another way to form security frameworks that are more adaptable and can alter in response to modern risks.
