Abstract

Green laser processing is an environmentally friendly and advanced technology that meets progressiveness with sustainable development. This strategy aims to achieve a balance between sustainability, waste generation, and resource utilization by harnessing the precision and efficacy of green wavelength laser systems to minimize environmental impact. Green laser processing applications in different sectors, such as manufacturing, renewable energy, and in processing foodstuff are discussed in this paper. Environmental solutions are a specific focus for us, including laser-induced graphene, surface hardening methods, and renewable energy components. The environmental benefits of green laser technologies, like waste minimization, more efficiency in energy consumption, and elimination of toxic substances, are explored thoroughly. We further examine areas of future research that could improve the scalability and eventually widespread adoption of the technology.
