Cloud Point and Pour Point Analyzers

Pour points and cloud points are important characteristics of many petroleum products. Fluid Data Model 444B Hallikainen Pour Point Analyzer is an on-line instrument designed to measure automatically the ASTM pour point of process samples. It is a cyclic unit, which can produce two to three results per hour. Hone “Cloudar” Cloud Point Analyzer is an updated version of the first Hone cloud point analyzer produced in the late 1960s. In the first model, light passed through a glass cell and, as a wax cloud formed, the detector responded to a decrease in the light level. In the present version of the Cloudar, the detector is located at right angles to the light beam. Pour point and cloud point analyzers should be installed indoors or in a climate-controlled analyzer shelter to protect them from the weather and to facilitate maintenance.
