Abstract

ABSTRACT Topological Hall effect (THE) is considered as an effective way to characterize the topological spin textures, such as skyrmions and chiral spin texture. Nevertheless, the influence of intrinsic anisotropy on topological configurations remains underexplored in current material research. In this work, we presented a systematic investigation on the mechanism of current direction dependent THE in Tm 3 Fe 5 O 12 (TmIG). The observed THE signals in the bilayer exhibits strong temperature and magnetic field dependencies, originating from the interfacial Dzyaloshinskii‐Moriya interaction (iDMI). The observed angular dependence of the THE signals on the current direction relative to the crystallographic axes originates from the coverage of islands around interface. It is further revealed that the reverse of topological spin states displays significant anisotropy aligned with the applied current orientation. This directional dependence originates offering a new avenue for controlling topological switching. Our results shed light on a new perspective for understanding THE of electrical transport researches.
