Abstract

Short-Wave Infrared Organic Photodetectors In their Research Article (10.1002/adfm.202517337), Jae Won Shim, Seo?Jin Ko, and co-workers highlight ultra-Sensitive short-wave infrared organic photodetectors (SWIR OPDs) with a novel TQC-4Cl non-fullerene acceptor. The optimized active layer facilitates efficient charge extraction and suppresses noise, enabling a record-low dark current and high detectivity exceeding 1012 Jones at 1200 nm. The devices also demonstrate excellent thermal stability for long-term operation.
