Abstract

Transparent Neural Electrodes The cover illustrates BioCLEAR, a transparent and flexible neural electrode that minimizes imaging artifacts during optical observation of deep brain regions. Made from silver nanowires and a conductive polymer (PEDOT:PSS), BioCLEAR integrates with an implantable GRIN lens to simultaneously record electrical signals and calcium fluorescence from neurons, providing a powerful platform for multimodal neural interface research.
