Bionic Triboelectric Pressure Sensor With Complementary Crack Structures for Pressure Path Tracking
Abstract
ABSTRACT Triboelectric pressure sensor has shown great potential in the frontier fields of Intelligent Robot Perception and human‐computer interaction systems, because of its self‐powered characteristics and environmental robustness. Here, inspired by the complementary crack structure of scorpion slit sensillum, a bionic triboelectric pressure sensor with a complementary crack structure is designed. Not only has bionic groove structure and bionic ridge structure, but also includes pits and protrusions. It effectively increases the actual area of the friction layer and greatly improves the output of BTPS. The results indicate that the sensitivity is 0.06 V/kPa (30 000 cycles. As a demonstration, with the bionic pressure sensor as the sensing unit, the sensor array and signal processing system can judge the value and position of the pressure, realize real‐time and long‐term pressure position monitoring, and use it for pressure monitoring, path tracking, etc. The related demonstration of this work inspires improving the intuition, flexibility, and long‐term effectiveness of human‐computer interaction in the future.
