Abstract

Engineering Aging This illustration is a metaphorical representation of in vitro aging models. The engineers (cells) start their careers working with robust, well-maintained equipment (healthy tissue), and as time passes, they grow older, and their equipment eventually fails. These elements combine to form an accelerated aging model that can be studied to uncover some of the mysteries of the aging process. More details can be found in the Perspective by Khoon S. Lim and co-workers (DOI: 10.1002/adma.202512523).
