Photosystem II‐Carbon Nitride Photoanodes for Scalable Biophotoelectrochemistry (Adv. Mater. 3/2026)
Abstract
Photosystem II-Carbon Nitride Photoanodes A spray-freeze method assembles photosystem II enzymes on macroporous carbon nitride, yielding scalable photoanodes for semi-artificial photosynthesis. The biointerface enables efficient charge transfer, oxygen evolution, and powering of low-power electronics.
