Abstract

Anisotropically Wettable Porous Transport Layers for Bubble-Free Electrolysis The cover highlights anisotropically wettable porous transport layers that achieve efficient gas-liquid management in water electrolyzers. Hydrophilic and hydrophobic domains cooperatively direct electrolyte flow and bubble release, minimizing interfacial blockage. This design enables stable, high-current-density, and bubble-free electrolysis, advancing practical hydrogen production.
