Ecological Adaptation Mechanisms Underlying Successful Plant Reproduction (Adv. Sci. 38/2026)
Abstract
Ecological Adaptation In their Research Article (10.1002/advs.202520550), Hang Zhao, Fuguang Li, Xiaoyang Ge, and co-workers establish an “environment-driven” framework for the multidimensional synergistic mechanisms governing plant reproductive plasticity. It elucidates the molecular networks integrating exogenous signals with endogenous developmental programs to ensure precise reproductive regulation. Furthermore, by identifying pivotal scientific questions and breeding trajectories, this work provides a systematic reference for deciphering plant adaptive strategies in the face of climate change.
