RETRACTION: Manganese(I) Catalyzed Ortho C−H Allylation of Benzoic Acids

The above article, published online on 27 March 2023 in Wiley Online Library (wileyonlinelibrary.com), has been retracted by agreement between the authors; the journal Editors-in-Chief, Frank Maass and Nathalie Weickgenannt; the German Chemical Society; and Wiley-VCH GmbH. The retraction has been agreed upon following a request from the authors. They informed the journal that although they confirmed the basic feasibility of carboxylate-directed ortho C-H-allylations, they have been unable to reproduce the high yields and exclusive selectivity for the mono-allylation products reported in the article. Since these two features were central to the claims presented in the article, the authors have determined that their results are unreliable. The editors agree that it is appropriate to retract this article.
