Abstract

The Front Cover illustrates a host–guest adduct between a bis(acridinium-ZnII porphyrin) molecular tweezer and a tetrapyridyl porphyrin guest. Upon light irradiation, this supramolecular system exhibits an intriguing pattern of tuneable excited state processes, including a rarely observed energy transfer to an emissive charge-transfer state.
