Abstract

Constructing flexible fibers into woven fabrics with 3D multi‐interface networks for electromagnetic wave absorption (EMWA) is attracting widespread attention. However, it remains a formidable challenge to weave metal‐organic framework (MOF) derived carbon composite fibers into stretchable and efficient absorbing fabrics. Herein, we fabricated MOF‐derived porous absorbing fabrics with dimensional engineering via a wet spinning strategy. The developed fabrics exhibit exceptional EMWA performance attributed to the repeated EMW energy reflection inside the constructed fiber network architecture. The absorbing fabrics deliver −51.47 dB at 8.93 GHz, while maintaining 3.00 GHz broadband absorption at an identical thickness of 2.9 mm. Additionally, the maximum effective absorption bandwidth reaches 3.54 GHz, almost spanning the X‐band. Moreover, the absorbing fabrics show exceptional flexibility, and they can be freely bent, stretched, folded, and even a single filament sustains marked tensile deformation without rupture. The fabrics exhibit superior EMWA capability and mechanical robustness. Their flexibility enables application on surfaces with various complex geometries, thereby expanding the application scope of fabric‐based absorbing materials.
