N‐Heteterocyclic Spiro‐Indenoid Frameworks Implemented Through [3 + 2]‐Spiro Annulation Involving Cyclic Ketimines and Alkynone or Its Structural Analog
Abstract
An efficient, atom‐economic Ir(III) catalyzed [3 + 2]‐spiroannulation has been devised, allowing alynone/alkynoate/alkynamide/alkynoic acid to interact regioselectively at the C 2 N 1 bond rather than C 3 N 4 bond of 2‐aryl quinoxaline and cyclic ketimines, thus implementing the synthesis of biologically relevant spirocyclic indene fused N‐heterocyclic scaffolds under mild reaction condition. In silico studies have been attempted to predict the biological activity of the synthesized compounds involving computational target fishing strategy.
