UK. Concerns were raised by a third party regarding the timeline of study, noting several inconsistencies with the dates of recruitment and the study's start and end dates. The publisher asked the authors to clarify the inconsistencies of the study timeline, but they refused to do so. Because the timeline's discrepancies cannot be cleared up due to the absence of an explanation by the authors, an EOC is warranted to inform and alert the readers. Speaking on behalf of the authors, W. El-khayat does not agree with the decision to issue an Expression of Concern.
