Endoscopic‐Assisted Posterior Partial Maxillectomy With Resection of the Tensor Veli Palatini
Abstract
This study describes a novel surgical technique for recurrent soft palate carcinoma using a combined endoscopic endonasal and transoral approach. By employing a sequenced three-line osteotomy, this method allows for the precise en bloc resection of the posterior maxilla and the involved tensor veli palatini muscle while avoiding external facial incisions. The authors declare no conflicts of interest. Data sharing not applicable to this article as no datasets were generated or analysed during the current study.
