Strong Third‐Harmonic Enhancement from Sb 2 Te 3 Nanopores with the Generation of Fabry‐Pérot and Surface Plasmon Resonances (Laser Photonics Rev. 20(1)/2026)
Abstract
Double Resonance-Enhanced Optical Nonlinearity Topological insulators as new quantum materials offer a promising platform for optical nonlinearities, especially frequency conversion. In Research Article e01077, Hua Lu and co-workers experimentally demonstrate Fabry-Pérot and surface plasmon resonances in ultrathin topological insulator nanostructures as well as observation of the generation of third harmonic emission with a strong 19.3-fold enhancement. This work paves a new avenue for enhancing optical nonlinearities of topological insulators and promoting their applications in nonlinear optical devices.
