Multispectral Concentric Grafted Perfect Vector Vortex Beam
Abstract
ABSTRACT Multispectral structured light with engineered topological charges and polarization offers powerful opportunities for increasing information capacity due to more degrees of freedom for carrying information. However, simultaneous control of wavelength, topological charge, and spatially variant polarization remains a fundamental challenge. We propose and demonstrate a multispectral concentric grafted perfect vector vortex beam, in which three wavelengths are simultaneously encoded with distinct combinations of topological charges and polarization orders, producing wavelength‐dependent, spatially variant polarization distributions within a single beam. A geometric metasurface is used to graft different perfect vector vortex beams across concentric spatial regions and extend this concept to multispectral operation, enabling independent control of topological charges and polarization at each wavelength. Our approach realizes a class of vector vortex beams that are inaccessible to conventional optics and provides a scalable route toward wavelength‐multiplexed vectorial and topological light fields, with applications in high‐capacity optical communications, microscopy, optical manipulation, and quantum optics.
