Mental health's paradigm shift is already under way
Abstract
The mental health field is on the precipice of a paradigm shift, and it is showing up in two distinct ways. The first is explicit. A growing number of leaders across the field are calling for a move toward population mental health. The second is more subtle but equally important. Across the field, there is increasing enthusiasm for ideas that align with a population health framework, even when they are not explicitly described that way.
