Abstract

ABSTRACT This study pays attention to event‐triggered‐based fault‐tolerant control for the chemical reactor model (CRM) in the presence of actuator failures and deception attacks. In such a model, the impact of actuator failures is addressed by utilizing fault‐tolerant control. Consequently, an event‐triggered mechanism is considered to mitigate the communication and computational overhead while maintaining system stability. The foremost intention of this study is to enhance the event‐triggered‐based fault‐tolerant control to compensate for the impact of actuator failures and deception attacks for the considered CRM. To ensure stability, a set of sufficient conditions has been developed through the utilization of Lyapunov stability theory in the frame of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). At long last, the efficiency of the proposed control scheme is demonstrated by the numerical example.
