Abstract

ABSTRACT Based on 3D Dirac semimetals (DSM) modified cross‐strip resonators, the tunable propagation performance in the THz region has been investigated, including the effects of structural parameters, asymmetric parameters, and Fermi levels. The results manifest that by moving the horizontal strip along the vertical direction δ y , a distinct transmission peak is observed and increases with the δ y value, and the Q ‐factor exceeds 43.8. The resonant curves can be manipulated efficiently via the Fermi level, e.g., if the Fermi level increases from 0.01 to 0.15 eV, the peak amplitude of the transmission curve varies from 0.78 to 0.94, with the amplitude modulation depth of 17%. Additionally, with a triangular‐strip hybrid resonator, a sharp transmission peak is observed, indicating large values of Q ‐factor and the factor of merit about 94 and 29, respectively. The results presented in this study are very helpful for exploring the tunability of 3D DSM plasmonic devices and provide important solutions for designing high‐performance THz sensors, filters, and modulators.
