Abstract

ABSTRACT Continuous flow technology offers to synthetic chemists and chemical engineers a novel, intelligent approach for the synthesis of biologically active molecules. Unlike traditional batchwise reactions, continuous flow reactions serve as an automated production line for organic molecules, enabling their synthesis in a more efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly manner. Since its inception, a multitude of scientists have applied it to the classical synthetic processes of various pharmaceuticals, thereby achieving a significant enhancement in the production rate. Herein, we have compiled recent examples of the integrated and non‐integrated synthesis of active compounds using flow chemistry. We aim to demonstrate how this technology is poised to transform the pharmaceutical industry. and to foster a deeper understanding and greater interest among readers.
