Abstract

ABSTRACT We report a concise and scalable two‐step synthesis of Nintedanib, a clinically important antifibrotic agent. The route was strategically streamlined by eliminating the protection–deprotection steps required in earlier processes. Systematic optimization of reaction conditions and catalyst–ligand combinations delivered a robust transformation with improved overall yield. The methodology exhibits favorable green metrics, including enhanced atom economy, thereby representing a more sustainable alternative for large‐scale preparation and pharmaceutical process development.
