Abstract

Extracellular Vesicles In article number e07451, Elmira Jalilian and co-workers investigated how tissue source and culture dimensionality dictate the cargo and efficacy of extracellular vesicles (EVs). The artwork depicts EVs (gold spheres) delivering their distinct miRNA cargo to damaged neurons, facilitating neurotrophic signalling and extracellular matrix remodelling. This study highlights that 3D culture significantly enhances EV yield and regenerative potency, establishing a framework for designing precise, cell-free therapies for ocular nerve repair.
