Abstract

Water Electrolysis Mo decoration on FeCoNiCuMo high entropy alloy modulates charge distribution to better balance hydrogen adsorption/desorption and enhance water dissociation through its strong OH- affinity, accelerating the Volmer and Heyrovsky steps and thus markedly improving hydrogen evolution reaction kinetics and overall water electrolysis performances.
