Abstract

Wearable Organic Electrochemical Transistors In their Research Article (10.1002/sstr.202400642), Drew R. Evans, Wei Lin Leong, Prashant Sonar, and co-workers show that PEDOT:Tosylate deposited through vapor-phase polymerisation onto a biocompatible chitosan film generated from seafood waste, produces a flexible, soft, and stable conductive film. This bioconductive film possesses significant potential for the development of next-generation wearable and implantable bioelectronic devices via low-voltage organic electrochemical transistors.
