UK vet receives lifetime achievement award
Abstract
Tim Mair (right) with AAEP president Tracy Turner The award, presented during the AAEP's 71st Annual Convention in Denver, USA, recognises Tim's outstanding contributions to equine veterinary medicine through clinical practice, research, teaching and mentorship. A senior veterinary surgeon at Bell Equine Veterinary Clinic in Kent, Tim has also served as editor of Equine Veterinary Education for more than 25 years. He has published extensively, delivered hundreds of lectures worldwide and supervised residency and intern programmes. He is also a founding diplomate of the European College of Equine Internal Medicine. Other 2025 AAEP award recipients included:
