Abstract This recipe shows an indicator-based method with a clear focus on the vulnerability of buildings to tsunami impact. The ingredients considered in the recipe are: an inundation zone identification based on a specific scenario and an indicator-based methodology for the physical vulnerability assessment of buildings. The case study area is located in Apulia, Italy.
