Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this recipe is to present the methodology used in Italy to quickly design tsunami inundation maps for civil protection planning and provide a first attempt to explore the uncertainties associated with these kinds of applications. It describes how to derive reliable tsunami inundation maps for coastal areas at a regional scale with relatively cheap computational resources.
