Process Models in Visual Data Analysis
Abstract
This chapter provides a brief review of background literature on process models that are relevant in visual data analysis, including ML, visualization, and human decision-making. These process models suggest frameworks for enumerating and thinking about where and how bias may be introduced in these processes.
