Abstract

The paper illustrates the application of the Living Lab methodology in Pilot Project 4.7.1 “Tech4You,” aimed at creating a phygital platform for the co-design of cultural and natural heritage interventions in transition and climate change scenarios. After outlining the Living Lab concept and the underlying theoretical framework, the paper describes the integrated methodological process, divided into three phases according to technological readiness levels (TRL), and tested in the case studies of Bova and Palizzi Marina. The results of the laboratory activities, operational mapping, and community engagement events are presented, which allowed for the testing of prototypes and climate scenarios, transferring knowledge for their optimization. The discussion highlights strengths, weaknesses, and future prospects, particularly the transfer of content to the profiled digital platform, as a replicable tool for participatory planning and adaptation to climate change in inland areas.
