Abstract

With the rapid increase in the number of seniors living independently, it is important to develop a noninvasive method to keep track of their activities without bothering them with wearable devices that need to be charged and maintained. In this paper, we develop a cost-effective tool to track the activities performed by the elderly and generate a privacy-preserving 3D model based on the observed activities, so that caregivers and/or family members can access and see the most recent activities through the web interface. The performance evaluation of our tool demonstrated its effectiveness.
