Abstract

Launched in Toronto in 2008, the Cities of Migration project was designed as a forum for local governments, community leaders, policymakers and businesses to share innovative practices from cities around the world. The initiative was a pioneering example of the transnational city networks that had proliferated in the 2010s in response to growing interest in the urban dimension of migration governance.
