Abstract

Do we still care about excellence in Engineering? What does it mean in reality? The saying goes that excellence is doing ordinary things extraordinarily well. Our craft has evolved in a way that, instead of pursuing excellence and improving what doesn’t seem to work, engineers drift into cynicism, where they complain against everything and everyone. How do we reset from all that and find thrill and beauty in the ordinary again?
