Abstract
China is one of the countries with the most severe geological disasters and the largest population threatened by them in the world. The high risk areas of geological disasters in China are mainly distributed in the southwest high mountain areas, southeast low mountain and hilly areas, the loess plateau, and Liaodong low mountain and hilly areas, with landslide disasters being the most significant.
